  • 3 Small Bowls
  • 1 Baking sheet
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 Knife

Ingredients

  • 2 Large Onions Sliced into ¼ inch rings
  • 1 tbsp Seasoning of Choice Suggested Seasoning Mix:

    - 3/4 teaspoon paprika

    - 1/4 teaspoon salt

    - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

    - 1/8 teaspoon pepper

    - 1/8 teaspoon chili powder

  • 1 Large Egg Beaten
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup Milk of Choice
  • ½ cup Flour

Instructions

  • Preheat over to 425℉. Cover baking sheet with parchment paper (optional).
  • Place half of the flour into a small sized bowl and set aside.
  • Place breadcrumbs into another small sized bowl and set aside.
  • Mix the remaining flour with milk, seasoning mix, and egg in another bowl.
  • One by one, dip the onion slices into the bowl of plain flour.
  • Next, dip the onion into the wet batter mixture. Let the excess batter drip off before moving to the next step.
  • Dip onion ring into the breadcrumbs. Make sure it is completely covered.
  • Place onion ring on prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all onion slices have been dipped.
  • Bake until onion rings are golden brown, 17 to 20 minutes. At the 10 minute mark, flip the onion rings so they crisp evenly.
