Pork Tacos with Cherry Salsa
Our Cherry Salsa is delicious on these easy pork tacos.

Ingredients
- 4 pork chops fat trimmed
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 12 corn tortillas
- 12 tablespoons queso fresco-style cheese crumbled
- 12 tablespoons Cherry Salsa
- 12 tablespoons nonfat plain yogurt
Instructions
- Wash hands before preparing food.
- Trim fat from pork chops then, slice into strips. Cut strips into bite-sized pieces and set aside. Note: Wash all surfaces with hot soapy water and avoid cross contamination.
- Heat skillet to medium high heat and add oil. Carefully place pork pieces in hot pan so as not to allow splattering.
- Cook until pieces are crispy, and pork reaches at least 145°F.
- To assemble tacos, steam tortillas in a microwave for 15-30 seconds.
- To each taco add 2 tablespoons cooked pork, 1 tablespoon 1 Cherry Salsa, 1 tablespoon queso fresco-style cheese, and 1 tablespoon yogurt.
Notes
Jalapeno: The recipe calls for 1/2 a medium jalapeno. I personal, would like more.
