Ingredients
- 2 cups Grape Tomatoes (The longest ones are prefereable)
- 16 ounces Low Moisture Part Skim Mozzarella Block
- 1 cup Fresh Basil Leaves (This ingredient can be substituted for dried basil)
- Balsamic Vinaigrette Drizzle (Optional)
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil Drizzle (Optional)
Instructions
- Slice a grape tomato at an angle. Invert one half of the tomato and align it with the other to form a heart shape.
- Dice a 16oz mozzarella block into 48 bite-sized cubes.
- Thread a toothpick with a segment of basil, followed by a mozzarella cube, the tomato heart, another mozzarella cube, and another basil piece.
- Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette and/or olive oil (optional), and savor this delightful, flavorful creation!
