CARROT FRIES
Equipment
- 1 Knife
- 1 bowl
- 1 Baking sheet
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds carrots = 6-8 medium carrots
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin optional
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400° F.
- Wash hands with soap and water
- Scrub carrots to remove dirt.
- Cut carrots into 3-inch strips, or rounds if you want carrot chips.
- Place carrots, oil, cumin (if using) and salt in a bowl and toss to coat evenly.
- Place carrots on the baking sheet. Bake in oven for 30 minutes, turning carrots after the first 15 minutes.
- Cool slightly and enjoy!
