Autumn Activities

Fall is finally here and now that the weather is changing, you might be looking for some fun fall activities to do. Whether you’re the type that wants to visit a pumpkin patch to pick out that perfect pumpkin, or maybe you want to adventure through a corn maze with a hot chocolate in hand, there is something for you here in the Treasure Valley!

If pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and hay rides are your thing, visit the Farmstead or Halloween Land at Twin Oaks Farms!  Feeling brave? Check out the Farmstead’s “Field of Screams” after hours, or “Nyah’s Haunted Woods” at Twin Oaks Farms.  Click here to find more information: https://www.farmsteadfestival.com/ and http://twinoaksidaho.com/halloweenland/.

Have you ever wanted to visit the zoo at night? Zoo Boise holds “Spooktacular Evenings” in October and is actually not as spooky as it sounds! This is a fun-filled night of Halloween displays, animal encounters, special entertainment, and other activities for the whole family. To see dates and more information, go here: https://zooboise.org/event/spooktacular-evenings-3/.

If you’re not in the Boise area or if you’re looking for something else to do, check out this website that shares events and activities to do all over Idaho during the fall: https://visitidaho.org/fall-for-idaho/.
